Amlin sponsors Dallaglio Cycle Slam

Amlin has taken up the challenge of accompanying their rugby ambassador Lawrence Dallaglio on his Cycle Slam to raise funds for charities Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation.

Amlin is an event sponsor for the Slam - 28 days starting 12 February, 2,800km, and calling at the 6 Nations stadia – Rome, Stade de France, Twickenham, Cardiff, Dublin and finishing in Edinburgh on 13th March.

Lawrence says, “It will be hard, but it will most certainly be fun! 2,800km sounds like a crazy distance to do on a bike, but it’s a challenge I’ve set myself to raise funds for Sport Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation.”

We’ve persuaded some of our intrepid brokers to join Amlin riders on every day of the challenge. Andrew Wright, Head of Marine at Amlin London is taking on the Paris to Twickenham leg, by Julian Taylor of Miller. Andrew said “This is a great idea or at least it seemed that way when I signed up! It is going to be physically challenging but we are going to enjoy it and we hope to raise a decent contribution for the charity pot.”
